Welcome to Topic 2 of the Preliminary course. Here we learn about what it takes to be a good manager. 

The LAST thing you want for yourself and for the people who work for you is to be a horrible boss. In this part of the course, you'll learn how to avoid this! If there is ONE thing to take from the course, it is what NOT to do when you are running your own business, or managing a business.

Also - this part of the course is important in laying the foundation for the HSC course. The section on Management Processes covers the 4 key business functions - 

• Operations, 

• Financial Management, 

• Marketing and 

• Human Resources. 

These are the 4 topics of the HSC course.

Here we are digging and securing the foundation - next year you'll be building that skyscraper to the sky.
