Resolution - Grievance Procedures

A grievance is a issue or concern in the workplace. 

A Grievance Procedure involves the creation of a formal internal procedure for the resolution of issues in the workplace. 

There are steps (clear pathway) to take that are clearly communicated to staff, informing staff that complaints will be heard by the firm and resolved fairly (against boss—tricky).

For employees, knowing and trusting that this process will be followed can help issues be identified, explored and resolved far more quickly than without one. This will reduce the rate of absenteeism and staff turnover in the firm.
