Business Studies Madness

To develop your business intelligence, you need to train yourself to imagine the features and functions of a very wide range of businesses. 

Business Studies Madness is the best learning and study tool to strengthen these creative and imaginative skills.

Here's how it works.

There are different types of cards:

• Choose Your Business - You choose at random and receive a hypothetical business. 

• Imagine Your Business - Discuss (or write responses to) a broad range of general questions about your business.

• Think and Respond - Choose a question card at random (from topic-focused bundles) and discuss how to respond to the question specifically relating to your randomly selected business.

The number of combinations is incredible. 

The Preliminary version focuses upon SMEs with 32 different businesses and 80 questions.

The HSC version focuses upon large and global businesses with 32 different businesses and 128 questions.

Other versions of the game could be:

• Choose ONE business card THEN randomly select, discuss or respond to 5-6 question cards. This will train you to imagine multiple aspects of one specific business.

• Choose ONE question card (could be the topic of a lesson) THEN select 5-6 different random business cards. Discuss or write responses to the same question for all these businesses. This will train you to apply the same business theory across multiple businesses.

• Teachers! Play as a class - set up stations around the room that have different businesses. Have 2-3 major questions from random cards to respond to written on the board. In rotating pairs (every 1 minute), students read the business card and what their peers have already written, they then add details to a common answer sheet at each station. Keep rotating and adding details at each new station. By the time you get back to your original sheet (starting point), you'll see a full range of ideas that your classmates have added.
